Bankot Fort is a coastal hill fort located near the village of Bankot, on the border of the Ratnagiri district and Raigad district in India’s Maharashtra state. Overlooking the Savitri River estuary, the fort historically controlled maritime access to the inland trade routes of the Konkan coast.
